During my Bachelors i studied basics of 3d modelling but during freelancing while creating stunning characters, illustrations, details landscapes and approaching their accurate perspectives, i have experienced a mixed approach doing all this process. I will be sharing some ideas and important factors which should be kept in mind while starting any 3d model. 1. Start with Strong Concept Design Planning: Before jumping into 3D modelling, plan out your idea thoroughly. Sketching or creating mood boards helps refine the concept. The clearer your vision, the more engaging the final result will be. Storytelling: Consider what story or emotion you want to convey. Every element in your scene should serve this narrative, whether it's lighting, camera angle, or props. 2. Master Modeling and Detail Realistic or Stylised? Decide whether you want a photo realistic illustration or a more stylised look. Both require different approaches: Realistic: Focus on high-quality textures, intricate details, and correct proportions. Stylised: Play with exaggerated proportions, colours, and shapes. Ensure it still feels coherent in its own world. Edge Flow and Topology: Keep your topology clean and efficient.
