Dutchbydesign 5.0 (470) Interior designer Posted October 31 0 For me there are 3 top ideas for Window Treatments that I use in my plans. It will depend on the client and the style I design for: Wood Venetian blinds - these are great for when designing for a Mid-Century Modern/Farmhouse or interiors that use wood accents (and who have kids). They are easy to clean too, so if dust is a concern these are a good idea - not to mention easy to install. For a more soft effect, I suggest Drapes or Curtains (or both). Layering them for better privacy and to give a more full effect that is warm and cozy. Drapes are heavier and can have a opaque backing so great for blocking out the light and bedrooms. Curtains are lighter - sheer curtains are great for that soft dreamy look. But they can be expensive for a perfect look. Becoming Popular, are Duo Roller Blinds. They have a simple look and are easy to control the light with their slide effect. They look fantastic in homes that have a more modern/minimal style with a airy feel. I can think of over 20 different window treatments off the top of my head but these are my top 3 Best, Kelly-Marie DutchByDesign See profile Link to comment https://answers.fiverr.com/qa/10_graphics-design/39_architecture-interior-design/what-are-the-top-window-treatments-that-can-transform-a-home-r1167/#findComment-2796 Share on other sites
studio57_3dviz 5.0 (15) Graphics & Design Posted October 16 0 The most obvious and simple way to dress up windows in a home is by hanging curtains or blinds in various styles and colors. This "minor" element of interior décor can give the room a distinct character that reflects the personality of the homeowner. Heavy curtains in solid colors help create a cozy, calming atmosphere, while lighter, brighter fabrics and patterns make the space feel more airy and fresh. Dark wooden window frames contrasted with bold, vibrant curtains... This is another great trick and a real find for a stylish space! This approach creates a luxurious and unique look that enhances the home's appeal. Not only is this option aesthetically pleasing, but it’s also a durable and long-lasting solution.
