Thukts 4.9 (724) Interior designer Posted November 8 0 Choosing the right materials for product design involves understanding the product's purpose, required durability, user experience, and environmental conditions. Start by assessing the specific mechanical and physical properties needed, such as strength, flexibility, or weight, based on the product’s functional demands. Then, consider how the material impacts aesthetics, comfort, and user interaction, as well as the cost and sustainability factors, balancing between quality and budget. Finally, evaluate any relevant industry standards or environmental concerns, ensuring the material supports both the performance and sustainability goals of the product. 3D CUBE DS 4.9 (571) Graphics & Design Posted October 31 0 Picking the right materials for a product is like matching a recipe’s ingredients to get just the right flavor! We start by thinking about how the product will be used—does it need to be tough, lightweight, flexible, or maybe environmentally friendly? Then, we look at how it’ll be made, since some materials play better with certain manufacturing methods, like injection molding or 3D printing. We also factor in cost and durability; we want something budget-friendly but sturdy enough to last. And, of course, there’s the style factor! For products people use every day, it’s gotta look great and feel right in their hands. It’s all about finding that perfect blend! studio57_3dviz 5.0 (15) Graphics & Design Posted October 16 0 When selecting the right materials for product design, several factors must be considered: the purpose of the design, the conditions in which the product will be used, and its lifespan. It’s essential to study the characteristics of each material – strength, weight, wear resistance, durability as this will help make the right choice. Additionally, it’s important to consider the aesthetic appeal of the material in alignment with the design. Saygin S 5.0 (644) Graphics & Design Posted August 27 (edited) 0 Material selection is the key parameter to create the proper and functiona designs. We especially concenrate on the material of the structure at the first phase of the project. Why we need this? Different material structure requires the different type of the manufacturing. As example, the sheet metal and abs plastic structures should be produced using different manufacturing techniques. We carefully inform the clients accordind those types of the differences at the starting phase of the projects. We have considered the cost and functionality issues together with our clients and have decided the proper and best material together.
