Ronnie Abs 4.8 (164) Product designer UI/UX designer Web designer Posted November 13 1 In one of my recent projects, I was tasked with designing a complex website and admin dashboard for a crypto product used by multiple user roles—each requiring different data visualizations and access levels. The challenge was to create a cohesive experience that catered to varied user needs without overwhelming them with unnecessary information or interactions. Challenges & Solutions: Complex Data Visualization Each user role required tailored data views, risking visual overload. I prioritized key metrics with a progressive disclosure approach to show high-level insights upfront, allowing users to drill down only as needed. This kept the interface clean and intuitive. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Different user roles needed unique functionalities. I designed modular components that could dynamically adjust based on the user’s role, ensuring each user only saw relevant features while keeping the UI consistent and UX flow.. Responsiveness and Scalability: I applied mobile-first principles, optimizing the layout to work seamlessly on all devices. This approach made the designs fully functional and smooth on both desktops and mobile. Zlatko M 4.9 (51) Frontend developer Website developer Posted September 7 1 I've recently worked with a Fiverr client and we were building a web application using: Webflow Uploadcare Memberstack Make Memberstack cannot store profile images but it can store URLs. Initially, I had no idea how to properly implement this strategy, however, as the project developed I began to form a clear idea of the workflow. When users are editing their profiles, ensure that you get the upload care CDN URL & bind it to an input that's saved in the memberstack table. When memberstack is updated, use make to return those updates & populate the appropriate CMS items. It was quite difficult to do but in the end we managed to make it work and users were able to update their profiles and showcase their services in the frontend. Mike Whaites 5.0 (15) Programming & Tech Posted September 3 1 In the past I have worked with a client on a very large project that lasted approx 1 year to redesign and develop a new website for their company. During the end stages of finalising the project, there was significant scope creep where the client was requesting additional changes not covered by the initial contract. They had also hired an additional designer without my knowledge, which created further delays and a mistrust between us. To overcome these challenges I simply communicated with the client and reminded them of the original contract and what was included within that. I presented an additional proposal for the extra work that they accepted and we then continued to have a good working relationship. In conclusion it is always best to be clear about the services we are providing to our clients and outline them in the contracts so that there is no margin for scope creep. It is also good to have open communication with your client and request regular reviews of the work submitted so that they are being honest in their feedback. If the relationship turns sour then remember to remain professional in your communication at all times.
