Ian 5.0 (836) Web designer Website developer Posted February 14 0 Ultimately a website is an online shopfront, which means that it can have great SEO but look awful. Likewise a website can look great, but without any SEO it will never be found. So, it's important to strike the balance. How do I do it? Well, I create a great looking website first, that's visually appealing and has the right amount of UX and UI. I will then go through the process of checking that the technical SEO is correct. If it's the other way around then it hampers the design process. It's also important to not over complicate things. Still to this day I see websites that have been keyword stuffed to the point where the content is unreadable, The content should be organic, and be able to read naturally. You have to think of Google as a uperbeing that can tell if you're trying to decieve it. Therefore Good honest content with a sleek and straightforward design is key. If the website is built correctly, things like website speed and website structure should be quick fixes at the end. Finally. It's also worth pointing out that Google loves it when you use it's own products. So utilising platofrms like Google My Business into a website will also work to your advantage, along with integrating Google Analytics and Google search console. I hope this helps? casios3dstudio 4.9 (143) Architectural visualization artist (ArcViz) Posted January 4 0 Balancing SEO and Design Innovation: Creating the Perfect Web Experience Rapid, concise, and clear as always – let’s dive in! SEO Optimization: SEO is essential for ensuring your website ranks well on search engines, driving organic traffic. Optimizing elements like page speed, mobile responsiveness, proper keyword usage, and clean code can improve both your rankings and user experience. SEO-friendly design ensures your site is accessible to search engines while still offering a smooth and intuitive experience for visitors. Design Innovation: Innovative design captures attention, engages users, and reflects a brand's unique identity. It involves creativity, bold visuals, and interactive elements that make a website stand out. However, when pushing boundaries with design, it’s important to ensure that these elements do not hinder usability or SEO. Heavy animations, complex structures, or excessive media can slow down load times and affect SEO rankings. Pro Tip: Balance creativity with functionality. Ensure your innovative design choices are optimized for performance. For example, use compressed images, lazy loading, and responsive design to keep the site fast while maintaining its visual appeal.
