I recommend creating the website in Wordpress as compared to Squarespace. Squarespace is a bit good in the visual end but you can get the same feelings with wordpress as well by creating the site through a page builder including elementor or through Divi.


What i don't like about squarespace is their SEO features. I have been in talks with Squarespace support since past 2 years for a SEO issue which happens on the squarespace end. If you set a page as private or set it as noindex the page shouldn't appear in the sitemap but that's not the case here.

I told them about this issue and they just pointed we have forwarded your request. It's been a long time and nothing is fixed.

On wordpress if something is not working through a plugin you can simply do a code edit and everything will be as per your demand.

Well...... which one to choose? I recommend WordPress for flexibility all day.
