Rich Latta 5.0 (63) Jingle composer Posted Monday at 02:44 PM (edited) 0 I tend to place more importance on now because we truly do not know what will become timeless. That is something that we have to look back on years later and can be harmful to the creative process. I ask for references from my clients and tailor my music to what the client is requesting. I am offering customer satisfaction as much as anything else. Edited Monday at 04:29 PM by Rich Latta Forgot a word. thisismartin 4.9 (258) Music & Audio Posted September 10 0 Trends come and go, but if you keep the core simple and catchy, it’ll last. I like to sprinkle in current trends to keep things fresh, but I don’t go overboard. The key is balancing modern elements with classic melodies and structures that’ll still sound good years from now. Nick Kold 5.0 (229) Film score composer Sound designer Posted August 27 0 It's all about feeling and emotion. If the composition gives the listener an experience - this feeling will last with the listener and never change. That's what's so powerful about music and sonics - it's a lasting emotion and time in space. So try to capture the emotion needed and in the right setting, it will last with someone.
