Miriam 5.0 (178) Demo singer Lead singer Vocal arranger Posted November 27 0 Honestly, starting as a vocalist will lead you to buy a cheap first mic. I also started with a Rode NT-A1 and I was almost about to buy a Shure. Just because you see it everywhere. Then I had the chance to compare it to Brauner and Neumann and I actually would never ever record with a cheap alternative mic ever again. If you have the chance to invest in a good mic and room - do it! It's the key to the quality you need for professional deliveries. Ever since I record with a Brauner Phanthera my vocals got such a glow up and my business is growing ever since! It's absolutely worth it!
