Alan P. 4.9 (1230) Music & Audio Posted January 16 0 I would recommend Audacity for formatting and converting audio files. It's a free bit of software that works on both PC and Mac and supports a vast amount of audio files types including; mp3, wav, aiff, au, and ogg. Also if you install the optional FFmpeg library, it opens up the options to support wma and audio from most video files. Audacity is free and super versatile for basic tasks like cutting, converting, and editing audio. It's perfect if you're looking for a no-cost, reliable tool.
