Techniques you can use to keep your voice healthy

  • Drink plenty of water
  • Get plenty of rest
  • Vocal training and singing lessons will take you a long way. Remember you are going to be using your voice a lot.
  • Learn how to warm-up and cool-down your voice. 
  • Try to refrain from yelling, and if you are going to yell, learn to do it properly (yes, that is a real thing).
  • Smoking can tear your voice up.
  • Drinking dries you out.
