Brego 4.9 (87) Audio editor Mixing & mastering engineer Sound designer Posted September 4 0 My go-to tools for sound design are: Avid Pro Tools: Ideal for complex tasks due to its industry-standard status, robust editing, and seamless plugin integration. Native Instruments Kontakt: Great for its extensive library of high-quality sample instruments and sound crafting versatility. Waves Plugins: Offers a broad range of effects like EQ and compression for shaping and fine-tuning sound. Soundtoys: Provides creative effects plugins for adding unique textures and character. I prefer these tools for their reliability, flexibility, and high-quality results in both detailed editing and creative sound design. Nick Kold 5.0 (229) Film score composer Sound designer Posted August 27 0 I use a combination of sound libraries, my own recorded sounds, Soundly, and Splice, all arranged, synthesized, and mixed in Ableton. This workflow works best for me, as it allows me to keep everything in one place for both arranging and creating, especially when working on bespoke music as well.
