Beatscribe 5.0 (1275) Game soundtrack composer Music editor Orchestral composer Posted October 28 1 I have always loved video game music. I loved the way it could bring little 8-bit pixels scenes to life and make something so simple seem dramatic and epic. Later I started to pay attention to this in movies. This got me interested in how to make them and I slowly learned the trade, starting with chiptune which is somewhat simple and moving into orchestral and symphonic music. The urge to keep creating has kept me going since then. Antonio A 5.0 (52) Sound designer Posted September 1 2 I have always been passionate about music since I was a child. In my adolescence I started producing my own music, learning different production software, becoming passionate about synthesizers, drum machines and samplers. I focused a lot on samples. When I realised that with just one sample (using pitch, stretch, cutting and using effects), I could use it in various ways, a new scenario opened up to me. After that I studied at an Academy of Electronic Music, different courses, including Sound Design. I learned the synthesis and manipulation of sound, and how to "sew it" on a visual. And I understood the importance of audio in films, video games or audiovisual installations, seeing how much they change the perception and mood of the user/spectator. Shortly after I started working for Kanaka Studio, a multidisciplinary creative studio skilled in interactive new media platforms, through visual design, 3D, video mapping projections, immersive performances and sound design. Then I realised that it is a fantastic and huge artistic field.
