One of the most unusual products I’ve ever photographed was a custom-designed, glowing chessboard with magnetic levitating pieces. It was a challenge to showcase both the craftsmanship and the "wow" factor of the product. To make it visually compelling, I used a few key techniques:

• Dynamic Lighting: I placed soft diffused lights around the setup to emphasize the glowing effect of the board, while using a backlight to highlight the levitating pieces. This added depth and a futuristic feel.
• Angles and Perspectives: Shooting from low angles accentuated the floating pieces, giving viewers a sense of wonder. Close-up shots showcased the intricate details of the chess pieces.
• Contextual Background: I chose a dark, minimalist background to make the glowing elements pop. Subtle accents like a polished wooden table added a touch of sophistication.
• Motion: I captured a short clip of the pieces slowly spinning in mid-air, which was later turned into a still photograph using a long exposure, creating a magical blur effect around the levitation.
• Post-Processing: Enhancing the glow and sharpness during editing brought the surreal quality of the product to life without making it look over-edited.

Every detail was designed to highlight the uniqueness of the product and to evoke a sense of curiosity and innovation in viewers.
