The first question I ask a client when starting a new mobile app project is:

write whatever in your mind - in your own words and share all possible details - so I can come up with my initial comments and then we can decide for next step.

This helps us understand the core purpose of the app and build it with the user's needs in mind.

If you need any help there we are here to help you 🙂

The first question we always ask our client is about their vision for the mobile app and who their target audience is.Understanding this helps us tailor the development process to their needs, ensuring the app not only meets their business goals but also resonates with the end-users. This approach is especially valuable for non-technical clients, as it allows us to guide them through the best solution options and help them choose the right package for their project.

In my 10 years of experience in mobile app development, I've identified one crucial question that needs to be answered before anything else: "What is the primary problem or need this app is intended to solve?"

Understanding the main issue or goal is essential for the client as it affects every aspect of the project — ranging from the technological architecture to the user experience. It guarantees that the application meets the needs of its targeted customer base, provides actual value, and is in line with the client's business objectives. I can adjust my strategy and come up with a solution that is both efficient and successful by starting with this question.

Whenever I start the new project my utmost priority is to get the clear requirements from my client and then write down all requirements. Set clear expectations in the start so during development both me and client can be on same page.

And not only the requirements, getting info about app purpose is the key as well. Understanding the app's purpose ensures that the project aligns with the client's vision, meets user needs, and achieves the desired outcomes, whether it's increasing user engagement, solving a specific problem, or driving business growth. And UI/UX of app always depends on the purpose of app.

When starting a new mobile app project, the first question I ask a client is, "What problem are you trying to solve or what goal are you trying to achieve with this app?"

This question is crucial because it helps to:

  1. Define the Purpose: Understanding the core problem or goal helps to clarify the app’s purpose and ensures that the development is aligned with the client's vision and needs.
  2. Guide the Design and Features: It informs decisions about the app's features, user interface, and user experience. Knowing the problem or goal helps prioritize features that will effectively address the user’s needs.
  3. Identify the Target Audience: The problem or goal often influences the target audience. Knowing this helps tailor the app’s functionality and design to the users it’s intended to serve.
  4. Measure Success: Clear objectives provide a benchmark for success. It helps in setting measurable goals and evaluating the app’s effectiveness once it’s launched.

Starting with this question sets a strong foundation for the project and ensures that both the client and development team are aligned from the beginning.

When we start a new mobile app project at CodeCross, the first question we ask our clients is: "What specific problem or need is this app intended to solve for your users?"

This question is crucial because it helps us understand the core purpose and goals of the project.

By identifying the problem or need, we can ensure that our development efforts are aligned with creating a solution that truly adds value to the end-users. This approach allows us to design and build an app that not only meets the client's expectations but also provides a meaningful and engaging experience for the users.

Our goal is to make sure that every app we develop with Flutter is not just functional but is loved by users and shared within their circles.

If you're looking to turn your vision into a mobile app that stands out, let's start the conversation today.

When we are talking about Mobile App Development, its important to start by understanding the idea/problem which client is trying to solve.
First we need to understand everything from client then provide our input on his idea refinement and guide them about Apple and Google requirements because of which we may have to change few things in the App.
When the idea is clear we can start making the SRS document so everything is clear in terms of idea and scope. Many clients dont even know that Admin Dashboard will be needed to manage the app so its important to communicate that to them.
From that document UI/UX designer can start creating the designs.
In the design process clients involvement is needed so the designs are made according to client preferences.
When we have to design the development team can start working on the development, development should be done i agile approach, so overall Project manager, Developers, SQA team should be involved in this process.
Client should get regular updates about the project.
At the end of the project client should be provided free 2-3 months post-launch support atleast.

Thats what we follow at Algoace.
