YouTube- You’ve got to hook viewers in the first 5 seconds since they can skip the ad. I like to create short, punchy content that gets straight to the point. But if the content is compelling, I’ll also make use of longer formats—think of it as a mini-movie that keeps viewers interested.

Instagram- Here, it’s all about the visuals and brevity. Instagram is a fast-scrolling platform, so the ads need to be visually striking and mobile-optimized. I typically use vertical or square formats to ensure they look great on small screens.

Each platform has a different vibe, so I tailor the message to match. Instagram users might appreciate something trendy and visually appealing, while on YouTube, the audience might be looking for something more informative or entertaining. It’s about meeting the audience where they are.

Each of these mediums also requires a different format.
