I really enjoy using CapCut! I have the Pro subscription, but it's not necessary to get the most out of the app. It's user-friendly and offers a great range of tools, including color correction, audio editing, and keying, among others. Additionally, there are many effects, transitions, music tracks, and sound effects to choose from.

I'm sharing my personal opinion.
There are many options for free video editing software, but in my opinion the two most popular free video editing software are Davinci Resolve and Capcut.

  • Davinci Resolve There are two versions, free and paid. Here you can use everything you need to edit videos. There are some limits in the free version, but you can get much better output in the free version. Here you can make beautiful color gradients, edit audio and do animations too. Just remember, the free version can render up to 4K Ultra HD and 60 fps.
  • Capcut This software also offers two versions, free and paid. But if you want, you can try the free version, which has some limitations. There are both phone and mobile versions, since the PC version has been asked here, I'm avoiding the phone version for now. Capcut's speed camping features. This is my favorite feature! Here you can see Graphic editor option in a beautiful way. If you have ever used Capcut, you must try it.

In my opinion, DaVinci Resolve is the best video editing software. It offers both a free and a paid version. You can start with the free version, and if you need extra features later, you can upgrade to the paid one. It’s affordable, with no subscription fees, and the license covers two computers, plus you get a bonus license for Blackmagic Fusion. Another great free option is Blender, which not only allows video editing but also lets you create 3D scenes.
