A simple explanation of a breach of contract for supply of motorcycles lets say - I paid them X on Y date and expected delivery on Z. At the core of it the concept is simple. I am not really interested in hearing complex explanations about what warranties were breached, what the interest default rate is, what the legal remedies and dispute resolution clauses say. I can and will gather all those nuances when I review the case documentation. What I wish to understand from the client is: 1. What went wrong; and 2. What do they wish to get out of dispute resolution. Everything else is then structured around this. This applies equally to any other form of legal consulting or advice. A contract for example - what is your business, why do you need the contract, what are the financial terms, what are any other concerns. All explained in simple easy to understand language make my job much easier. They save the client time and expenditure. And enable me to turn around an effective work product on a shorter timeline.
