Video ads can be a really powerful tool in display advertising.

Here are a few different ideas that our team has put together which could be used in your display ads:

Storytelling : You can look to create a series of short video ads that tell a story over time. Retargeting people with each of the videos making sure that they follow the series, you could even upload this series to YouTube and generate an audience there.

Behind-the-Scenes Content works well: In today's world, people aren't satisfied with faceless businesses telling them what to do. Use BTS content to show people that you're real people doing real things.

Customer Testimonials: A personal favourite of mine. We regularly use video testimonials from satisfied customers to build credibility, we have also used static testimonial images with a nice review and image to show customers that we are trustworthy.

Live Demos or Tutorials: Depending on what you're offering, this is a great way to show how easy your product/service is to use. You can demonstrate how to use your product or service in real-time, highlighting the benefits.

User-Generated Content: One of the most powerful content types for the last few years. Ask your audience to create and share their own videos using your products, then feature these in your ad campaigns.

Seasonal or Event-Based Themes: It's coming up to Halloween (or as most like to call it cosy season); this can show you're considering different themes and helps to get in front of customers.

Animated Explainers: If you don't have a studio, film crew or editors you can get animated explainers created at a good cost here on Fiverr, they can meet the criteria for great content without the massive overheads.

Hope this helps!

Add some fun to your display ads with creative video ideas. 🎥 Begin with a looping teaser that catches the viewer’s eye and draws them in - they will want to see more. Use cinemagraphs, which show small, moving parts within a still image, to get attention. Try putting together a bunch of short videos with a similar theme that tells a story across different ads. Throw in some humor or surprising visuals to keep the ad stuck in their mind. Also, don’t leave out a strong message that pushes people to act. The trick is to keep it visually exciting and straight to the point! 🎯

One idea is to tell a short, compelling story in your video. Keep it brief and engaging—people often have short attention spans, so aim for something that quickly captures their interest.

You can also use videos to showcase your product in action. Show how it solves a problem or highlight unique features in a way that static images can’t. Another approach is to create tutorials or how-to videos. These can be super useful for viewers who want to learn more about your product or service.
